Cooperation between the Faculty of Economics and Business and institutions from Euro-Asian countries will be based on an interdisciplinary approach to research with the aim of creating an open platform for research and teaching cooperation and collaboration with a view of establishing joint academic degree-earning programs as well as life-long upskilling certificate-earning programs. ZEI would thus enable the further strengthening of business relations cooperation and communication between Croatian researchers and their European and Asian counterparts. Major international projects such as the 17 + 1 Initiative (with a focus on Central and Eastern European countries) as part of the Belt and Road Initiative may also benefit from stronger intra- and inter-regional co-operation.
